Poms were originally derived from the Spitz broad, so they are essentially heirs to their fluffy thrones. Notoriously nicknamed Pom-Poms, Fluffbutts, the Prince or Puff (okay, maybe I came up with that last one) these tiny, super intelligent puppies are the perfect loyal lap dog.
2. Chow Chow
Chow Chows originally came from China where they were referred to as Songshi Quan which literally means “puffy-lion dog.” That translation basically says it all: Chows have a double coat that is super thick around their “mane” and they have a very distinctive blue tongue. Also, the puppies look like walking teddy bears, so if you have everyone around you or cuteness, a Chow is the way to go.
